The Addis to Jima Road is 309Km long and is one of the main trunk roads in Ethiopia, providing access to a large part of southwestern region. DIWI was initially engaged to carry out the feasibility study and later to review designs and provide construction supervision services for the rehabilitation of the entire route and construction of 33km of new alignment. We mobilized a complete team of experts to the country including a geotechnical specialist, a pavement materials specialist and highway designers together with an experienced supervision group to control the quality and financial aspects of construction. The value of the project was approximately €88.7 Million.
