DIWI has been engaged by the UAE Government authorities, under eight separate contracts, as specialist consultants to design and supervise maintenance projects on highway networks, bridges, and storm-water systems. Our design teams have also designed complete infrastructure developments for new townships in the UAE and a series of 18 footbridges for the City of Abu Dhabi. We were contracted by the ‘Abu Dhabi Fund for Development to design and supervise the new Sheikh Zayed Township in Gaza, Palestine, which was completed in 2004 for a cost of $70 Million. We were subsequently employed by the Abu Dhabi Municipality to design and supervise the new Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed City in Gaza, the estimated cost for this entire development is $260 Million.
