In 2007, we were commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Municipality to design and supervise the Sheikh Khalifa City development to be constructed in Gaza, Palestine. The project, when constructed on the 10,000 Ha site, will provide apartment blocks and community amenities such as mosques, schools, shops, playgrounds and gardens, a police station, and a clinic. Our Abu Dhabi infrastructure design team produced the complete tender package of detailed drawings and specifications for all roads, buildings, and services for the city development. Complete infrastructure to the new townships of Al Rehan and Al Janin in West Bank, Palestine, have also been constructed under the supervision of a DIWI Project Management team.
